Your attempt to register may fail for any of the following reasons:

  1. The details you entered do not match those we have for the main account holder (or primary contact) for your account(s). If you are the main account holder, check your most recent bill to see what details we have, and check that you enter the same details when registering. If you're still not sure what details are different, you can contact us to find out.
  2. You currently do not have any active Meridian Energy accounts.
  3. Your account only has non-standard meters e.g. half-hourly, unmetered, pre-pay.
